IDENTT age verification system receives positive KJM assessment
German KJM (Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media) considers IDENTT Vision to be suitable as an age verification system to protect minors from potentially harmful content. In a recent press release, the commission has given IDENTT the official approval of the 14 Media Authorities in Germany.
Age verification for closed user groups
The German Treaty for the Protection of Minors in the Media (JMStV) requires providers of adult content to ensure that minors cannot access such content. For this purpose, providers are required to install so-called “closed user groups”. An age verification system controls access to these closed user groups.
Optimal youth protection with IDENTT Vision
Each IDENTT Vision document check includes age verification. In addition, face comparison ensures that the person in front of the screen is identical to the document holder.
In practice, the positive KJM assessment means that providers of online casinos, sports betting, and other adult content who opt for IDENTT Vision as an age verification system are compliant with German youth protection laws and regulations.
